My journey as a Mexican-American artist in the Pocono Mountains is deeply rooted in the rich cultural heritage of the Santa Ynez Valley in central California, where I grew up.

My art, spanning paintings, drawings, and contemporary Papel Picado installations, pays homage to La Sirena and Mexican traditions.

Inspired by the spirit of invention, I employ traditional techniques like hand-dyeing and watercolor in my garden studio. This creative environment resonates with the legacy of my great-great-grandmother, a revered seamstress who crafted intricate designs for Indigenous communities a century ago.
